About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Corporate Legal Experts with expertise in corporate law, contract drafting, contract review, contract negotiations, and contract redlining to contribute to advanced legal AI training and evaluation projects. In this role, you'll apply your professional legal expertise to evaluate AI-generated legal analyses, participate in simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, and help improve how next-generation AI systems identify legal risks, interpret legal language, and perform complex legal reasoning. No prior AI experience is required. Your expertise in corporate transactions, commercial agreements, contract negotiation, drafting, review, and legal risk analysis is the primary qualification for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and contract redlining exercises involving complex corporate and commercial agreements.
  • Review and assess AI-generated responses to corporate legal scenarios for legal accuracy, risk identification, reasoning, and precision.
  • Apply expertise in corporate law, commercial transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk analysis.
  • Review and analyze corporate and commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, purchase agreements, service agreements, and other business contracts.
  • Identify legal risks, ambiguous provisions, negotiation points, and potential contractual issues.
  • Create objective evaluation frameworks, rubrics, and grading criteria to assess AI performance consistently.
  • Provide structured legal feedback and recommendations to improve AI-generated legal analysis and outputs.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and cross-functional teams to refine evaluation guidelines and legal AI workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing corporate or commercial law at a law firm or in-house legal environment.
  • Strong experience with corporate transactions, contract negotiations, contract drafting, contract review, and contract redlining.
  • Familiarity with standard corporate and commercial agreements and transaction documents.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, business transactions, legal risk, and contract interpretation.
  • Excellent analytical, legal reasoning, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to translate legal expertise into structured feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on M&A transactions, private equity matters, commercial transactions, or complex corporate agreements.
  • Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, legal research, or AI training and evaluation projects.
  • Experience developing legal evaluation frameworks, training materials, or quality review standards.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in technology, research, or product environments.
  • Strong interest in the intersection of law, technology, and artificial intelligence.

Compensation
