Life Sciences Research Assistants to contribute high-quality scientific reasoning, research analysis, and evaluation content that helps improve next-generation AI systems.
This role is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in biology, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, or related life sciences disciplines.
You'll apply your research experience to analyze scientific data, evaluate methodologies, review protocols, and create realistic research scenarios that reflect modern scientific practice.
No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop realistic life sciences research tasks involving experimental design, protocol evaluation, data interpretation, and scientific reasoning.
- Review and analyze research data, laboratory results, scientific literature, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate methodological approaches and identify strengths, limitations, and potential sources of error.
- Create high-quality reference solutions based on established scientific principles and research best practices.
- Review AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, methodological rigor, and evidence-based reasoning.
- Synthesize information from multiple scientific sources and datasets.
- Develop structured evaluation rubrics focused on data interpretation, source fidelity, protocol adherence, and scientific reasoning.
- Document findings and provide detailed written feedback to improve model performance.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project teams to refine evaluation tasks and scientific benchmarks.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of research, laboratory, or scientific analysis experience.
- Experience working with scientific literature, experimental protocols, and primary research data.
- Strong understanding of scientific methodology, experimental design, and data interpretation.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with scientific documents, spreadsheets, datasets, and technical reports.
