About the Opportunity
We’re seeking English speakers from Australia, and the United Kingdom to contribute to an AI training project focused on evaluating English audio recordings. In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of natural speech, pronunciation, regional accents, and language patterns to assess audio quality and provide accurate, structured feedback.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of their English accent and excellent listening and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to and evaluate short English audio recordings.
- Assess whether speech sounds natural and authentic to the speaker’s target accent or region.
- Evaluate pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and natural speech patterns.
- Identify inconsistencies, unnatural expressions, and pronunciation issues in spoken English.
- Provide clear, structured feedback on audio recordings.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain accuracy and consistency throughout evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- English proficiency with strong knowledge of a regional English accent from Ireland, Australia, or the United Kingdom.
- Strong understanding of pronunciation, accent variation, and natural speech patterns.
- Excellent listening and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to provide clear, accurate written feedback in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in voice coaching, voice-over work, or speech analysis.
- Background in music, audio engineering, or sound production.
- Experience in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, media, or communications.
- Previous experience analyzing or evaluating speech and audio recordings.
