micro1 is engaging Physics Experts at the PhD and Postdoctoral level to contribute advanced scientific knowledge and rigorous problem-solving skills to a high-impact customer project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will solve challenging physics problems within your area of specialization, produce technically rigorous solutions, and help improve how AI systems learn and reason about advanced scientific concepts. No prior AI experience is required — your physics expertise is the primary qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Solve advanced physics problems within your research specialization, providing rigorous derivations and detailed analyses.
  • Produce technically precise and clearly structured solutions using LaTeX mathematical notation.
  • Clearly document assumptions, approximations, intermediate reasoning, and final results.
  • Use SymPy, Python, and Jupyter for symbolic or numerical verification and reproducible computational workflows where appropriate.
  • Identify important subtleties in problem statements, including special cases, boundary conditions, limiting cases, and dimensional consistency.
  • Identify ambiguities or potential issues in project materials and propose well-reasoned interpretations or clarifications.
  • Review and revise submitted solutions based on feedback from project reviewers.
  • Integrate corrections accurately while maintaining consistency and clarity.
  • Follow rigorous documentation and reproducibility standards consistent with professional scientific research.

Required Qualifications
