About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Postdoctoral Researchers and STEM Research Specialists with advanced expertise in scientific research, technical problem-solving, data analysis, research methodology, scientific reasoning, and experimental workflows to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects.
In this role, you'll apply your research expertise to evaluate AI-generated scientific outputs, technical analyses, research methodologies, problem-solving approaches, and complex STEM workflows.
Your work will help improve the accuracy, reasoning, reliability, and research capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required.
Your advanced STEM research background, scientific reasoning, technical expertise, and research experience are the primary qualifications for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific research, technical analyses, and STEM problem-solving outputs for accuracy, depth, and methodological rigor.
- Apply expertise in research methodology, experimental design, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
- Review complex research workflows, experimental approaches, computational analyses, and scientific methodologies.
- Analyze datasets, research findings, experimental results, and technical outputs to identify errors, inconsistencies, limitations, and edge cases.
- Validate AI-generated solutions using professional STEM knowledge and established research principles.
- Document research methodologies, analytical approaches, validation processes, and technical reasoning in clear and structured formats.
- Provide expert feedback to improve AI accuracy, scientific reasoning, problem-solving capabilities, and output quality.
- Develop or apply structured evaluation frameworks and rubrics for assessing complex STEM research tasks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain scientific accuracy, consistency, and evaluation standards.
- Required Qualifications
- Ph D in a STEM discipline, including Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Postdoctoral research experience or significant advanced research experience in an academic, industrial, laboratory, or technical research environment.
- Strong expertise in scientific research methods, experimental design, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
- Experience conducting, reviewing, or contributing to independent research projects, publications, technical reports, or scientific studies.
- Strong ability to analyze complex research questions, methodologies, datasets, and experimental results.
- Excellent scientific reasoning, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI-assisted research tools, agentic AI systems, coding agents, or technical automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Open Code, or similar AI-assisted technical tools.
- Experience with data analysis, scientific computing, code debugging, computational research, or technical validation.
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, or other recognized academic or technical publications.
- Experience evaluating AI-generated outputs, scientific content, technical analyses, or research methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI model evaluation, output validation, research documentation, or structured evaluation frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary, academic, industrial, or remote research teams.
