The Role

We are hiring a Business Operations Associate to help keep Synthesized running smoothly as we scale. This is a highly varied role sitting at the heart of the business, supporting priorities across Operations, Marketing, People, Events and GTM. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to bring structure, coordination, and execution to the projects and processes that keep the company moving. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being the person that gets things done. Someone organised, proactive, commercially minded, and excited by the pace and variety of startup life.

Location & Ways of Working

  • London-based
  • Primarily office-based, with flexibility where appropriate
  • Works closely with the Executive Leadership Team and wider business

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support day-to-day office operations and workplace experience across our London office
  • Coordinate company events, customer events, conferences, webinars, and other marketing activities
  • Help manage operational processes, reporting, documentation, and internal projects
  • Coordinate suppliers, vendors, invoices, and general business administration
  • Support leadership with planning, logistics, scheduling, and follow-up actions where needed
  • Act as a central point of coordination across teams, helping ensure projects and initiatives stay organised and on track

About You

  • 1-3 years of experience in a startup, scale-up, operations, marketing, events, business support, or similar environment
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and resourceful; you spot problems and solve them before being asked
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information professionally
  • High ownership and strong follow-through

Nice to Have

  • Previous startup experience
  • Experience supporting events, marketing, operations, or people teams
  • Strong financial literacy and comfort working with budgets, invoices, or reporting
  • Experience working closely with founders, executives, or leadership teams
