Job Description
Reporting to the Assembly Team Leader the role will entail the assembly and commissioning of machines, machine modules and sub-assemblies using engineering drawings and 3d models. The successful applicant, ideally apprentice trained, must have a keen eye for detail and an understanding of engineering processes.
Working within a small manufacturing team the applicant must be flexible, self‑motivated and able to work well in a team and individually.
Key Responsibilities
Within area of operation, the Mechanical Technician will;
- Follow all department procedures.
- Assemble parts to the required specification including machine build modular assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and complete all quality documentation required for the tasks.
- Identify problems with assemblies/parts and raise any quality issues following the company procedures.
- Operate handling equipment and machinery when trained to do so.
- Support the sustainment and improvement of housekeeping and health and safety practices.
- Support in the implementation and sustainment of 5S standards.
- Assist in the achievement of the Assembly operational
