What you can expect:

As a Sales & Application Engineer, you will play a central role at the intersection of sales, application, and engineering. You will work closely with the sales team, engineering, and production to create competitive machine solutions for the Pharma and MedTech industries. You will be responsible for quotations, cost calculations, concept development, and standardization of our machine portfolio — and you will contribute to strategies that increase sales to both existing and new customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and cost calculations for new machine projects and service deliveries
  • Develop concepts and document standard and modular machine solutions
  • Create and maintain price lists, quotation texts, and calculation tools
  • Standardize budget components to enable faster and more accurate quotations
  • Assess risks, materials, and project costs, and propose optimizations
  • Collaborate early in the sales process with sales, engineering, and production (pre‑sales support)
  • Support go‑to‑market strategies and collaborate with sales agents/partners
  • Participate in process optimization of the quotation workflow (e.g. LEAN principles)

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education (e.g. mechanical, production, automation, or electrical engineering)
  • Experience with quotation costing, cost engineering, or sales support — preferably from machine building or Pharma/MedTech
  • Very strong Excel skills; experience building calculation models
  • Knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, and PLC software is an advantage
  • Experience with project work and process optimization (e.g. LEAN, SCRUM)
  • Commercial mindset; experience with go‑to‑market activities and sales support
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
