CNC Miller responsibilities:
- Working in a small, skilled team, you'll play a vital role in producing high-spec transmission components for demanding applications.
- Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis (3+2) CNC milling machines to create precision components.
- Read and work from technical drawings and route cards to meet strict tolerances and timeframes.
- Understand and edit Fanuc-based CNC programmes, adjusting speeds/feeds as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Proactively support continuous improvement, quality investigations, and daily problem solving.
CNC Miller Experience:
- Proven experience with CNC milling – ideally in motorsport, aerospace, or similar.
- Confident in Fanuc code and capable of basic on-machine programming/editing.
- Skilled at reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances.
- Strong working knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis).
- A proactive, team-focused mindset with a continuous improvement attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing workloads.
- Bonus: knowledge of wire erosion (advantageous, not essential).
