Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented Mitutoyo CMM Inspector for a 6-month contract. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team committed to a right-first-time approach, ensuring every part meets the highest standards of excellence.
CMM Inspector responsibilities:
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and planning route cards
- Carry out manual inspection using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and other standard equipment
- Perform table work to confirm dimensions and tolerances are met
- Program and operate CMMs (experience with Mitutoyo software highly desirable)
- Document inspection results clearly and consistently
CMM Inspector Experience:
- Solid background in quality inspection for precision engineering environments
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Skilled in using manual measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
- CMM programming/operation experience (Mitutoyo software experience is a bonus)
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude and team-first mentality
- Flexible and open to supporting different stages of the manufacturing process
