Commissioning Engineer Location: Wokingham, Hampshire Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE Type: Full-Time | Permanent Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading automation and control systems business to recruit a Commissioning Engineer for their growing team in Yateley. This role will support the commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems across a range of industrial and infrastructure projects, working closely with installation and project teams to deliver successful site-based solutions. Responsibilities * Commission PLC, HMI and SCADA systems on customer sites * Support electrical installation and commissioning activities * Carry out testing, fault finding and system validation * Identify and rectify commissioning snags * Interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings * Provide technical support during project delivery * Complete commissioning reports and documentation * Support site acceptance testing and project handovers * Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and NICEIC standards * Work closely with software, electrical and project engineering teams * Travel to customer sites as required Qualifications * Previous experience within a commissioning, controls, service or electrical engineering role * Strong understanding of electrical installations and control systems * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics * Experience commissioning industrial equipment and systems * Knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs would be advantageous * Control panel experience would be beneficial * Electrical qualification including NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC or HND * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Must be eligible to work in the UK Benefits * Up to £66,000 DOE * Overtime and TOIL scheme * Enhanced pension scheme * Private healthcare * Death in service benefit * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Holiday buy and sell scheme * Training and development opportunities * Employee wellbeing programme * Perkbox employee discounts * Access to company vehicles * Free parking * Regular social events and team activities #J-18808-Ljbffr
