Are you an experienced Toolroom professional with a passion for precision engineering and innovation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Toolroom Manager to lead and develop our client’s in-house manufacturing capabilities, working closely with a talented team of engineers to produce industry-leading calibration solutions., The Role: As Toolroom Manager, you will oversee all workshop operations, ensuring efficient production and prototyping workflows. Your role will include programming and running CNC/manual machines, maintaining high health and safety standards, and mentoring workshop staff. You’ll also contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes and provide valuable input into design and quality standards., * Manage workshop operations to deliver high-quality components and assemblies on time.

Program, set, and run manual and CNC machines.

Collaborate with design and production teams to optimise manufacturability and improve processes.

Plan and schedule machine maintenance, material needs, and tooling requirements.

Enhance quality control, inspection procedures, and contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS).

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred).

Experience in tool setting and path generation on and offline (e.g., HSMWorks).

Familiarity with materials like stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and engineering polymers.

Ability to deliver components with tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes.

Strong understanding of technical drawings, QC inspection, and documentation.
