CNC Programmer Responsibilities
- Offline CNC programming for 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres using CAM software
- Develop and optimise machining strategies across materials including aluminium and titanium
- Select and implement efficient tooling packages for each component
- Design and develop fixtures and workholding solutions
- Liaise with external programming subcontractors where required
CNC Programmer Requirements
- Experience in offline CNC programming using CAM software (e.g. Mastercam or similar)
- Strong understanding of multi-axis machining (3, 4 and 5-axis)
- Background in aerospace manufacturing is preferred
