The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Location: Andover

Pay: £12.83 – £15.20 per hour (depending on shift). Pay increases to £13.21 after successful 6-month probation.

4-day week available on late shift.

Syntech Recruitment are working with a growing electronics manufacturer in Andover who are looking to hire six PCB Inspectors to join their production and quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electronics assembly or inspection experience who enjoys detailed work and working with high-quality PCB assemblies. Electronics assemblers with microscope inspection experience are also encouraged to apply.

Shift Options:

  • Early Shift Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:15, Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Late / Twilight Shift (15% shift allowance) Monday – Thursday: 13:00 – 23:00

4-day working week / 3-day weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect PCB and PCBA assemblies using microscopes and visual inspection techniques.
  • Identify soldering defects, component placement issues and assembly faults.
  • Use automated inspection equipment including AOI where required.
  • Follow digital work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Ensure all assemblies meet strict customer specifications and industry standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in PCB / PCBA inspection or electronics assembly.
  • Comfortable using microscopes for detailed inspection.
