Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading automation and control systems business to recruit a Commissioning Engineer for their growing team in Yateley. This role will support the commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems across a range of industrial and infrastructure projects, working closely with installation and project teams to deliver successful site-based solutions.
Commissioning Engineer Duties
- Commission PLC, HMI and SCADA systems on customer sites
- Support electrical installation and commissioning activities
- Carry out testing, fault finding and system validation
- Identify and rectify commissioning snags
- Interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings
- Provide technical support during project delivery
- Complete commissioning reports and documentation
- Support site acceptance testing and project handovers
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and NICEIC standards
- Work closely with software, electrical and project engineering teams
- Travel to customer sites as required
Commissioning Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience within a commissioning, controls, service or electrical engineering role
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings
