The Role
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will work as part of an experienced production team assembling a range of precision products and sub-assemblies. You'll be involved in both mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly work, ensuring products are built to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products from engineering drawings and work instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools, torque tools and assembly fixtures safely and correctly
- Testing and inspecting assemblies using procedures, jigs and fixtures
- Completing assembly work to production schedules and targets
- Supporting the training of new team members when required
- Following quality standards, ISO procedures and ESD controls
- Maintaining accurate workmanship in line with engineering specifications
- Working within clean room environments when required
- Supporting wider production activities across the business
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area in line with 5S principles
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly environment
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience following assembly procedures and work instructions
- Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous, but is not essential
