Salary: £27,500 starting salary + daily overtime paid at 1.5x

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:45, Friday early finish

This role sits within a busy machine shop environment and focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety across the production area. This is not heavy labouring — it’s structured industrial cleaning within a professional manufacturing facility.

Warehouse Cleaner Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy machine shop environment
  • Sweep and clean production floor areas
  • Empty bins and remove general waste
  • Remove swarf bins from machining cells and segregate recycling (metals, plastics etc.)
  • Transfer swarf bins to main skips using pallet truck equipment
  • Remove coolant and clean machine sumps using wet vacuum equipment
  • Clean machine exteriors using approved cleaning materials
  • Monitor skip capacity and notify supervision when replacements are required
  • Maintain clean walkways and yard areas
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
