Syntech Recruitment is working with a well-established UK aerospace and defence manufacturer, renowned for producing high-precision components used in critical, life-saving aviation systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern manufacturing facility with long-term stability and development.
We are recruiting a Tube Bender to support the manufacture of high-accuracy pipework and mechanical assemblies. This role is ideal for someone with experience in tube bending, deburring, and/or fettling, who enjoys practical, hands-on engineering work.

Tube Bending Duties
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and build instructions
- Operate semi-automatic pipe bending machines
- Use workshop equipment including presses, saws, and hand tools
- Carry out deburring and fettling to prepare components to specification
- Assemble metallic components using fixtures, adhesives, and handheld tools
- Perform visual inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Record build progress and traceability using SAP or similar ERP systems
- Work to SOPs while maintaining high safety and quality standards
Tube Bending Profile
This role suits a practical, detail-oriented individual with experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
Essential experience:
- Experienced in tube/pipe bending and using form blocks
- Strong background in deburring and fettling
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Experience operating machinery requiring dimensional or co-ordinate input
- Mechanical assembly experience within manufacturing or precision engineering
- Good attention to detail and confidence using workshop tools
- Basic computer skills (ERP experience beneficial; SAP ideal)
