Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading engineering and recycling solutions business to support the hire of a Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering complex turnkey recycling plant solutions across Ireland, the UK, Australia and international markets.
Project Manager Duties
- Oversee all stages of project delivery including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets and resource allocation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying specifications and delivery stages
- Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors across multiple project sites
- Support and manage Site Managers to ensure delivery targets relating to safety, quality and programme schedules are achieved
- Lead regular project and site progress meetings, maintaining accurate reporting and project updates
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery milestones are achieved on time and within budget
- Manage contract variations and ensure all changes are documented and claimed in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure expectations are consistently met throughout project delivery
- Work closely with engineering, procurement and finance teams to support successful project execution
- Prepare and manage invoicing schedules and associated project documentation
- Travel to project sites as required to support operational delivery and stakeholder engagement
Project Manager Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Project Management, Site Supervision or Construction Management
- Proven experience delivering complex engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Engineering qualification within Mechanical, Civil or related discipline advantageous
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working with clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to perform under pressure
- Strong project administration and documentation experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required
