Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading engineering and recycling solutions business to support the hire of a Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering complex turnkey recycling plant solutions across Ireland, the UK, Australia and international markets.

Project Manager Duties

  • Oversee all stages of project delivery including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets and resource allocation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying specifications and delivery stages
  • Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors across multiple project sites
  • Support and manage Site Managers to ensure delivery targets relating to safety, quality and programme schedules are achieved
  • Lead regular project and site progress meetings, maintaining accurate reporting and project updates
  • Monitor project progress and ensure delivery milestones are achieved on time and within budget
  • Manage contract variations and ensure all changes are documented and claimed in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure expectations are consistently met throughout project delivery
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement and finance teams to support successful project execution
  • Prepare and manage invoicing schedules and associated project documentation
  • Travel to project sites as required to support operational delivery and stakeholder engagement

Project Manager Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within Project Management, Site Supervision or Construction Management
  • Proven experience delivering complex engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Engineering qualification within Mechanical, Civil or related discipline advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working with clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong project administration and documentation experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required
