Location: West Byfleet initially, relocating to Send, Woking after 4–6 months (Commutable from Woking, Guildford, Byfleet, Weybridge, Cobham, Farnborough, Camberley, Bracknell and surrounding areas)
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE + Production Bonus
Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:15pm, Friday 9:00am–5:00pm (36 hours per week)
Syntech Recruitment is working with a highly successful engineering and manufacturing organisation that is looking to strengthen its operations team with the appointment of a Supply Chain Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, production planning, supply chain administration or operations coordination who enjoys working across multiple departments. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials, documentation and production activities run smoothly while liaising with suppliers, production teams and internal stakeholders.

Supply Chain Coordinator Duties
- Obtaining quotations from approved suppliers for raw materials, tooling and consumables
- Raising and issuing purchase orders
- Monitoring supplier deliveries and progressing orders through to completion
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages and discrepancies
- Managing supplier returns and ensuring issues are resolved promptly
- Maintaining engineering drawings and revision-controlled documentation
- Managing material certifications and quality records
- Preparing and issuing production job packs and shop floor documentation
- Ensuring production teams have access to the correct drawings, specifications and supporting information
- Supporting production and operational activities across the business
- Assisting with stock, materials and supply chain administration
Supply Chain Coordinator Profile
- Previous experience in a supply chain, purchasing, procurement, operations or manufacturing administration role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems would be beneficial
