Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:15 | Friday 08:30 - 16:00

Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading control systems integration business to recruit a Senior Control Systems Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced controls professional to lead the design, development and delivery of PLC, SCADA and HMI projects whilst mentoring junior engineers and supporting the continued growth of the engineering team.

Duties:

  • Lead the design, development and commissioning of control systems projects
  • Develop PLC, SCADA and HMI software solutions
  • Attend client meetings and conduct site surveys
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple projects
  • Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning
  • Produce technical documentation and project reports
  • Configure and programme control systems using a range of platforms
  • Support FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities
  • Mentor and develop graduate and junior engineers
  • Work closely with clients to develop technical solutions
  • Ensure projects are delivered to quality, budget and programme requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and engineering best practice

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in control systems engineering
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
