As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring precision-engineered components meet stringent aerospace and defence standards prior to release.
Shift Pattern
This role will transition to a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern from March, working 177 shifts per year. The shift pattern includes weekends and bank holidays, but excludes Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

- Inspecting precision-engineered mechanical components and assemblies
- Conducting detailed checks on safety-critical cartridges and equipment
- Using handheld inspection tools such as verniers and callipers
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Ensuring all parts meet aerospace and defence quality standards
- Working collaboratively within a busy quality inspection team
Requirements
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Hands-on inspection experience using verniers, callipers, and similar tools
- Capable of working in metric and imperial measurements
- Background in a precision manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GD&T desirable but not essential
- High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
