Syntech Recruitment are supporting a leading precision engineering and manufacturing organisation in the search for an experienced Quality Engineer. This role would suit a quality professional with a strong manufacturing background who is experienced in customer and supplier quality management, quality systems, auditing and continuous improvement.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Act as the primary quality interface between customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues across production operations
- Train manufacturing personnel on inspection methods, quality standards and measurement techniques
- Manage and maintain calibration systems for measurement and test equipment
- Support the setup and control of inspection equipment used within production
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Translate customer quality requirements into manufacturing documentation and processes
- Produce inspection reports, trend analysis and quality performance metrics
- Manage non-conformances and customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D and 5 Why analysis
