Job Description
- Packing new-build parachutes and drogues to support production and customer spares orders
- Following manuals, technical drawings and internal documentation precisely
- Drawing parts from satellite stores and recording batch numbers
- Checking for flaws and logging findings accurately
- Preparing parachutes for pressing and operating compression equipment
- Supporting R&D programmes including prototype testing
- Conducting self-inspections and tool checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Handling components with care, adhering to safety and handling procedures
The Right Candidate
- Previous experience packing parachutes (military, skydiving or similar background)
- Confident reading technical drawings
- Comfortable working with hand tools and tying specialist knots
- Extremely methodical, safety-first approach to all work
- Experience from sailing or other knot-reliant environments also considered
