We’re hiring for a Paint Prepper to join a specialist manufacturing team near Uxbridge. This hands-on role involves preparing aerospace-grade components through precise masking, adhesive application, and oven-curing processes. It’s an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering company producing safety-critical parts for the aerospace sector.

Paint Prepper Responsibilities:

  • Mask components accurately for surface treatment and aluminium oxide blasting
  • Apply specialist adhesives (e.g. Araldite) to exacting standards
  • Cure bonded parts using industrial ovens to meet technical requirements
  • Remove excess adhesive and clean surfaces to a high finish
  • Work from detailed instructions and technical drawings
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and methodical workspace

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in masking, bonding is required - please do not apply without previous experience evident in your CV!
  • Ability to follow work instructions and interpret technical drawings
  • Confident using hand tools, adhesives, and operating curing ovens
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on attitude
  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
