This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer looking for a long-term career within a highly respected engineering business.
You'll play a key role in protecting people, property and assets while working in a varied role combining gatehouse duties, site patrols, CCTV monitoring and emergency response.

- What you'll be doing
- Controlling pedestrian and vehicle access to site
- Checking identification, issuing visitor passes and escorting visitors where required
- Carrying out regular foot and vehicle patrols across the site and perimeter
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms and other security systems
- Responding to security incidents, emergencies and alarm activations
- Conducting vehicle searches in accordance with site procedures
- Producing accurate incident reports and daily security logs
- Managing onsite traffic movement and parking
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees, contractors and visitors
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Security Officer or within a similar security role
- Valid frontline SIA Licence (essential)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Experience using CCTV and security monitoring systems
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Calm, professional approach when responding to incidents
- Able to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 4 on / 4 off pattern
- Willingness to undergo security clearance
