The predicted salary is between 26000 - 39000 £ per year.

Salary: £32,500 per annum (£16.90 per hour)

Overtime: £25.30 per hour (Available 7:00 - 8:00 Mon - Fri, 12:30 - 5:00 Fri, plus weekend work available)

Location: 10-minute drive from Uxbridge

Hours: 37-hour week (Mon to Thurs 8:00 - 17:00, Fri 8:00 - 12:00)

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, fantastic pension scheme, 1.5x overtime pay

Mechanical Technician Duties:

  • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
  • Assembling complex mechanical sub-assemblies to exact specifications (M3+ bolts)
  • Using a variety of hand tools such as ratchets, sockets, torque wrenches, pliers, hex keys, and screwdrivers
  • Conducting self-inspections to ensure top-tier quality in every assembly
  • Working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) for basic data entry and tracking

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of various hand tools to carry out precise mechanical work
  • Basic computer skills with MRP/ERP experience being highly advantageous
