As part of the quality team, you will play a key role in inspecting machined, cast, moulded and assembled parts, ensuring high standards are consistently met across all stages of production.

Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, functional and dimensional inspection of mechanical components and final products
- Create CMM programs and carry out detailed component inspection
- Generate inspection documentation such as FAIRs and control plans
- Conduct batch, inter-stage and first article inspections
- Support root cause investigations and contribute to quality improvement activities
- Provide feedback on inspection issues to relevant teams
- Update ERP systems accurately and maintain a clean, safe working area
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mechanical inspection role within manufacturing
- Proficient with traditional metrology tools (micrometers, Verniers, height gauges, etc.)
- Confident reading engineering drawings with a good understanding of geometric tolerancing
- Experience setting and/or operating CMM machines is ideal for this role
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards is desirable
- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous
