Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (Commutable from High Wycombe, Bicester, Leighton Buzzard, Thame, Oxford and surrounding areas)

Salary: £34,086 – £35,880 per annum inclusive of 15% shift premium (Base £29,640 – £31,200 DOE)

Shift Pattern: Monday – Wednesday 1:30pm – 11:30pm, Thursday 1:30pm – 11:00pm

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This is a permanent PM shift opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler who enjoys detailed, hands-on work within a structured production environment. This role would suit someone with a solid manufacturing background who takes pride in quality, precision and working to engineering drawings.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting Third Angle Projection engineering drawings
  • Carrying out precision mechanical fitting and assembly work to high standards
  • Working from engineering instructions and build documentation
  • Following guidance from engineers, project managers and team leaders
  • Participating in quality control processes
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining high standards of output and workmanship
  • Supporting wider production duties when required
  • Operating and working safely around production plant and machinery
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and compliance with Health
