Machine Shop Estimator Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, drawings and technical specifications
- Prepare accurate manufacturing cost estimates and quotations
- Develop optimum manufacturing methods and production strategies
- Produce clear and professional customer quotations
- Manage projects from enquiry stage through to contract completion
- Conduct contract reviews ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are captured
- Liaise with customers regarding technical and commercial queries
- Source raw materials and subcontract services where required
