We are currently looking for skilled Intrinsic Safety Engineers with 2+ years of experience to join a cutting-edge engineering firm known for innovation and quality. This is a fully remote role, offering the freedom to work from anywhere in the UK while being part of a supportive and expert-led team.
Intrinsic Safety Engineers responsibilities:
- Lead intrinsic safety evaluations and assessments across a range of complex systems and components
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IECEx, ATEX, and ISO 80079
- Collaborate with design engineers to integrate intrinsic safety requirements into product development
- Generate and review technical documentation including safety files, FMEAs, and certification reports
- Liaise with certification bodies to manage the approval process
- Support customers with technical safety queries and provide expert consultancy
Intrinsic Safety Engineers Experience:
- Strong background in intrinsic safety, ideally within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors
- Solid understanding of relevant safety standards (ATEX, IECEx, etc.)
- Proven experience preparing technical documentation for product certification
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline
