Location: Andover

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:15 & Friday: 06:00 - 14:00

As a Production Operative, you will play an important hands-on role in the assembly, soldering, and testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Working as part of a collaborative production team, you’ll use both manual techniques and automated equipment to help deliver high-quality electronic products used in critical sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, Defence, and more.

Production Operative Responsibilities:

  • Assemble PCBs and electronic products in line with work instructions and SOPs
  • Perform hand soldering to IPC standards (training can be provided)
  • Clean PCBs after soldering, using approved processes and materials
  • Operate automated and semi-automated equipment for production and testing

Production Operative Requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
  • Comfortable working to targets individually and within a team
  • Flexible and willing to support different areas of production
