Hourly rate: Β£12.83

Location: Andover

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:15 & Friday: 06:00 - 14:00

As an Electronics Assembly Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection and testing of high-reliability PCB assemblies (PCBA) for some of the UK’s most advanced sectors – including Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, and Defence. You will use a mix of automated testing equipment and visual inspection techniques to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections under microscope and via camera systems
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment
  • Investigate and report on visual defects and customer returns
  • Communicate effectively with SMT and soldering teams on any quality concerns
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to internal quality procedures and standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inspection roles within manufacturing or electronics
  • Skilled in visual inspection, with or without microscopes
  • GCSE-level education or equivalent
  • Competent with computer-based reporting and inspection systems
  • A strong team player with a meticulous eye for detail
