Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

We are recruiting a CNC Miller - Setter/Operator for a high-precision engineering and manufacturing environment based near Ascot, Berkshire. This role sits within a well-established machining department, producing tight-tolerance, high-quality components used in demanding, performance-critical applications. The position suits an experienced CNC Miller who is comfortable setting and operating machines, running multiple jobs, and working to exacting quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings and job packs
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously where required

  • Carry out basic checks and adjustments to ensure parts meet specification
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working area
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure production targets are met

Profile

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator
  • Confident setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Comfortable managing workload across more than one machine
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is desirable
