Overview
Are you an experienced Surface Treatment Technician/Anodiser/Plater looking to advance your career? Join a world-class and highly successful Manufacturing company, recognised with multiple Queen\’s Awards, specialising in the production of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets. You will be responsible for the masking, bead blasting, and surface preparation of small, precisely manufactured components.
Location / Hours
You will be based near Gerrards Cross, accessible by car or close public transport links, with free parking available.
- Hours: Week One 6am – 2pm and Week Two 1:45pm – 10pm
- Overtime: Available daily and is paid at time and a half.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
- Prepare metallic surfaces for further processing, including anodising and passivation.
- Mask components to ensure critical features are protected.
- Operate anodising finishing equipment, both manual and automated.
- Prepare components for finishing processes (e.g., bunging, masking, jigging).
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Pack parts for internal transport and storage.
- Interpret part numbers, drawing issue numbers, process specifications, and finishes.
- Utilize basic measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understand health and safety and COSHH regulations related to hazardous substances.
- Have a basic manufacturing/engineering background.
