A leading performance engineering and precision manufacturing business is expanding its CNC team and is looking for experienced CNC Turner for its night shift operation. This is not high volume, button press work. You will be machining complex, high precision components for demanding sectors (e.g. niche aerospace, motorsport, performance products) where tolerances are tight and quality is critical. Batch sizes are typically 1 - 20 off, with multiple tool changes per run and a real focus on craftsmanship.
- Set and operate CNC lathes on complex, low volume components (1s, 5s, 10s, 20s - not large batches)
- Work to very tight tolerances for demanding end use applications
- Carry out multiple tool changes per job/run
- Read and interpret CNC programs and make on machine adjustments
- Identify and correct errors in programs
