Overview Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading provider of precision engineering solutions, specialising in CNC machining and metal cutting. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality components to various industries. The CNC Supervisor will have extensive experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC machining and metal cutting and will oversee a team of 8-15 junior machinists and apprentices, providing mentorship and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Responsibilities Supervision and Mentoring Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining team.Mentor and provide hands-on training to junior machinists and apprentices.Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
CNC Machining Operate and supervise the use of 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision metal parts.Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
Quality Control Conduct regular inspections to ensure all products meet quality specifications.Implement and maintain quality control processes and standards.
Operational Efficiency Manage workflow to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.Optimize machine usage and minimize downtime.Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes.
Qualifications and Skills Technical Expertise Proficiency in 3 and 5 axis CNC machining and metal cutting.Strong understanding of CNC setting and online programming.
