Location: 10-minute drive from Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Continental Shifts β Early: 06:00β16:00 / Late: 12:00β22:00
Pattern: Rotation between early and late shifts (no consecutive weeks) β 177 working days per year, approx. 25 weekends

As a CNC Machinist, you'll work in a fast-paced CNC department operating a variety of machines, contributing to the production of critical components in a high-spec environment.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC mills and lathes (Bridgeport, Hurco, Protrack)
- Editing G&M programs directly at the machine when required
- Producing low-volume, high-precision components
- Operating CMM machinery and interpreting CMM drawings
- Performing basic machine and tool maintenance
- Self-inspecting and deburring components to high standards
- Supporting lean manufacturing practices and process improvements
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Several yearsβ experience as a CNC Machinist (milling and/or turning)
- Confident setting and operating multi-axis machines
- Ability to self-inspect using standard measurement tools
- Experience reading CMM reports
- Mechanical apprenticeship (ideal but not essential)
- Familiarity with 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kanban, or CMM inspection is a plus
