Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client, a reputable fabrication company based in Cork, to find a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing business that specialises in high-quality metal fabrication and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines to meet production schedules
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cutting
  • Conduct quality checks on completed parts and make adjustments as required
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Handle materials and finished products safely using a forklift
  • Keep accurate records of production and maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and output

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (e.g. Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment is preferred
