Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client, a reputable fabrication company based in Cork, to find a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing business that specialises in high-quality metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines to meet production schedules
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cutting
- Conduct quality checks on completed parts and make adjustments as required
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Handle materials and finished products safely using a forklift
- Keep accurate records of production and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and output
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (e.g. Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid forklift licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment is preferred
