CNC Grinder (Nights or Weekends)
Location: Near Newbury, West Berkshire (15-minute drive / 30 minutes via public transport)
Salary:
- Nights: Up to £52,500 (inclusive of 33% uplift)
- Weekends: Up to £47,000 (estimated annual equivalent with uplift)
Shifts Available:
- Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 19:00–07:00
- Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 06:00–18:00

CNC Grinder Duties:
- Operating Studer CNC cylindrical grinders to manufacture tight-tolerance parts
- Interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-spec metal components
- Conducting precise self-inspections using micrometers, gauges, and verniers
- Collaborating with engineers and machinists to maintain workflow
CNC Grinder Profile:
- 3+ years’ experience operating Studer or similar CNC cylindrical grinding machinery
- Experience working to tight tolerances – ideally in motorsport, F1, or aerospace
- Skilled in precision inspection and confident reading technical drawings
- Comfortable working independently in a high-spec production environment
