We’re looking for a bright, confident and highly motivated Trainee Recruitment Delivery Consultant to join our team of experienced Recruiters and Resourcers to supply permanent and temporary recruitment services to customers within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors. This is an entry-level trainee role, working directly under our Delivery Team Lead and supporting the wider delivery team. You’ll learn how recruitment works from the ground up, speaking with candidates, supporting live vacancies, using recruitment technology, and helping keep candidates and customers updated throughout the process. This is not a cold sales role. It’s a delivery focused position for someone who wants to learn, work hard, communicate well and build a career in recruitment.

What you’ll be learning and supporting with:

  • Speaking with candidates by phone, video, email and WhatsApp
  • Helping qualify candidate interest, availability and suitability
  • Supporting interview arrangements, feedback and follow-ups
  • Keeping candidates updated throughout the recruitment process
  • Assisting the delivery team with live vacancies and candidate shortlists
  • Using our ATS, AI tools, LinkedIn and job boards to support candidate sourcing
  • Writing clear candidate messages, adverts and follow-up communications
  • Learning how to build strong relationships with candidates and customers

What we’re looking for:

  • A great attitude, strong work ethic and real willingness to learn
  • Confident communication skills and a natural ability to speak with people
  • Highly organised, reliable and detail focused
  • A proactive, positive and infectious approach to work
  • Comfortable using technology and keen to learn recruitment systems
  • Someone who takes pride in doing the basics brilliantly
  • Previous recruitment experience is useful, but not essential

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right attitude who wants to get into recruitment, learn from an experienced team, and develop into a successful Recruitment Delivery Consultant. We’re as interested in what you do outside of work as what’s on your CV whether that’s sport, a side project, volunteering, or something you’re just stubborn about getting right, tell us about it in your application. We’re also genuinely curious if you’ve experimented with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity, anything) in your own time, not because it’s required, but because it tells us something about how you think and whether you’re naturally curious about getting better at what you do. Apply now if you’re driven, positive and ready to learn.
