Syntech Recruitment is expanding. As part of our continued growth, we’re hiring a commercially driven Business Development Representative to help strengthen our presence across the engineering and manufacturing sectors. This is a strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives on structured outreach, knows how to engage hiring decision-makers, and understands how to turn insight into opportunity.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients, building outbound campaigns, and using data-led outreach to generate new business opportunities. The focus is on creating intelligent, repeatable engagement that opens doors and drives hiring conversations. You’ll work closely with our delivery team to leverage candidate-led opportunities, while also building your own pipeline of prospects through automation and smart prospecting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients through job board monitoring, market mapping, and lead generation tools
- Build and manage contact lists of key decision-makers within engineering and manufacturing organisations
- Run automated and multichannel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, CRM) using tools like Apollo
- Conduct high-volume, structured outbound calling to introduce Syntech services
- Execute candidate-led campaigns by promoting standout profiles to stimulate hiring interest
- Craft engaging, value-driven messaging that converts to intro calls and new roles
- Keep CRM (Vincere) up to date with clean data, campaign tracking, and contact engagement
- Report weekly on leads added, sequences launched, conversations started, and meetings booked
What You’ll Need
- Proven success in outbound business development, recruitment, or lead generation
- Practical experience with sales automation platforms and outreach sequencing
- Strong written communication with the ability to create compelling messages
- Knowledge of enrichment tools such as Lusha, RocketReach, or similar
- CRM experience (Vincere, Bullhorn, or equivalent) with strong data discipline
- Understanding of recruitment workflows and how to engage hiring managers effectively
