Calibration Technician Responsibilities:
- Calibrate measuring instrumentation to National UKAS standards.
- Maintain and service calibration equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and company quality procedures.
- Produce and maintain accurate calibration records and certificates.
- Develop, review, and audit calibration procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits to uphold quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients.
Calibration Technician Requirements:
- Ideally from a similar background with some knowledge. No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided!
- A relevant engineering qualification OR calibration experience.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles (both practical & theoretical).
- Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Experience with Windows-based and laboratory automation software.
