Syntech Recruitment are proud to be working with this prestigious client who are global leaders in their field. We are currently recruiting for Calibration Technicians at their facility in Glasgow.

Calibration Technician Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate measuring instrumentation to National UKAS standards.
  • Maintain and service calibration equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and company quality procedures.
  • Produce and maintain accurate calibration records and certificates.
  • Develop, review, and audit calibration procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to uphold quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients.

Calibration Technician Requirements:

  • Ideally from a similar background with some knowledge. No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided!
  • A relevant engineering qualification OR calibration experience.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles (both practical & theoretical).
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Experience with Windows-based and laboratory automation software.
