We are supporting a well-established and highly respected engineering manufacturer in their search for a Cable Assembly Technician to join their growing production team near Worthing. This is a great opportunity to join a business known for producing high-quality electrical and fibre optic assemblies used in advanced engineering environments. If you have got experience in wiring, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical build, this is a solid move into a stable, long-term role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building electrical, fibre optic, and hybrid cable assemblies to specification
- Reading and working from schematics and assembly drawings
- Carrying out point-to-point wiring, crimping, soldering, and testing
- Using hand tools including torque and crimping equipment
- Performing electrical and functional testing
- Suggesting improvements to assembly methods and processes
- Taking ownership of your work to ensure high-quality output
- Working in line with quality, safety, and environmental standards
