Salary: £35,500 starting salary + excellent benefits

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out brazing operations (low-temp silver and high-temp brass) on pipes, fittings, and sub-assemblies
  • Performing arc welding (including TIG) on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components
  • Working to high aerospace standards and specifications
  • Setting and operating spot welding equipment
  • Preparing components including deburring, polishing, and cleaning
  • Completing inspection checks including ball bearing tests and visual quality checks
  • Supporting development work, including proof-of-concept welding activities
  • Assisting with welding tasks across maintenance and production when required

  • Previous experience in brazing and arc welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment and workshop tools (grinders, gas cutters, etc.)
  • Familiarity with TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
  • Ideally certified to relevant welding standards (e.g. aerospace or BS/EN equivalents)
  • Hands‑on, reliable, and comfortable working in a production environment
