Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, or gauges) to perform dimensional checks against engineering drawings and limit samples. Clean mold surfaces between cycles using release agents, air nozzles, or approved solvents as required. Assist setters/technicians with mold changes, insert loading, and basic tool preparation. Perform routine daily maintenance checks on machines (checking hydraulic fluid levels, safety interlocks, and air pressure lines). Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines, wearing mandatory PPE (safety boots, heat-resistant gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection). Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation (5S standards), ensuring no oil leaks, scrap rubber, or debris accumulate around machines. Complete production logs, quality inspection sheets, and scrap count reporting accurately at the end of every shift.
