Salary: £38,188 – £40,653 per annum including 15% shift uplift
Hours: Monday – Wednesday 1:30pm – 11:30pm, Thursday 1:30pm – 11:00pm (Every Friday off)
Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Aylesbury. This is a permanent late-shift position suited to a TIG Welder / Fabricator with a strong manufacturing background and experience working from engineering drawings.

TIG Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities
- Carry out fabrication and coded welding work to engineering drawings
- Read and interpret third-angle projection engineering drawings
- Produce welded components to required quality standards
- Carry out MPI and Dye Penetrant inspections where required
- Complete relevant quality checks and report defects
- Record welding and qualification information accurately
- Book and manage jobs using the EPICOR MRP system
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S
- Support continuous improvement and waste-reduction activities
- Ensure all work is completed safely and within required timescales
What We're Looking For
- Confident and experienced TIG Welder
- Minimum 2 years' welding experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong fabrication experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience with MPI / Dye Pen inspection would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
- Strong attention to detail
