Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex

Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–12:00 (37 hours per week)

We’re hiring for a hands-on Assembly Operative - Masking & Bonding to join a specialist manufacturing team near Uxbridge. You’ll be preparing, masking, bonding, and curing aerospace-grade components using precision tools and adhesives. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering business producing safety-critical products for the aerospace sector.

Assembly Operative Benefits:

Assembly Operative Responsibilities:

  • Follow technical drawings and instructions to build assemblies using prepared kits of parts
  • Mask components accurately for aluminium oxide blasting
  • Apply adhesive (e.g. Araldite) and complete bonding operations
  • Oven-cure bonded assemblies to meet technical specifications
  • Clean excess adhesive and prepare assemblies for inspection
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and cleanliness throughout the process

  • Experience in bonding, masking, or mechanical assembly
  • Able to follow work instructions and engineering drawings
  • Comfortable using adhesives, hand tools, and working with ovens
  • Great attention to detail and methodical in approach
  • Reliable team player with a hands-on attitude
