We’re hiring for a hands-on Assembly Operative - Masking & Bonding to join a specialist manufacturing team near Uxbridge. You’ll be preparing, masking, bonding, and curing aerospace-grade components using precision tools and adhesives. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering business producing safety-critical products for the aerospace sector.
Assembly Operative Benefits:

Assembly Operative Responsibilities:
- Follow technical drawings and instructions to build assemblies using prepared kits of parts
- Mask components accurately for aluminium oxide blasting
- Apply adhesive (e.g. Araldite) and complete bonding operations
- Oven-cure bonded assemblies to meet technical specifications
- Clean excess adhesive and prepare assemblies for inspection
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and cleanliness throughout the process
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in bonding, masking, or mechanical assembly
- Able to follow work instructions and engineering drawings
- Comfortable using adhesives, hand tools, and working with ovens
- Great attention to detail and methodical in approach
- Reliable team player with a hands-on attitude
