Syntech Recruitment is seeking an Assembly, Integration & Test Manager to join a cutting-edge engineering business operating in a highly regulated sector. In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of daily manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Assembly, Intergration & Test Manager Duties
- Managing the daily activities of the MAIT team, ensuring safety, quality, and deadlines are met
- Allocating resources, issuing work orders, and preparing build documentation
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with H&S policies
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and escalating where necessary
- Supporting policy and process development to enhance MAIT operations
Assembly, Intergration & Test Manager Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/physics (or HNC/equivalent with strong relevant experience)
- Proven management experience in manufacturing, ideally in aerospace or a highly regulated sector
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of MAIT processes, including functional testing, bonding/isolation, vibration, and thermal testing
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to gain SC clearance (UK resident for at least 5 years)
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable: ECSS standards experience, space industry background, or apprentice-trained.
